Callao Salvaje is located on the west coast of Tenerife, hidden between the resorts of Playa Paraiso and Playa de La Arena, just 12kms north west of the infamous Playa de las Americas. Callao Salvaje was originally a small village that has over the past few years undergone a very rapid transformation. The main town beach isn’t too spectacular and facilities are sparse. It probably has a limited appeal to families with children. At the moment, the local authorities are planning to create an artificial beach and either way there are some amazing beaches just a very short drive away.
